When I visited in Karachi last week, 5 methods stood out: But outside of Pakistan, few people know about TCF. The Economist called them “perhaps the largest network of independently run schools in the world.” They are a rare success story in a country with 239 million people. TCF started in 1995 & grew - despite constant challenges in Pakistan (devastating floods in 20, militancy from Al-Qaeda & the Taliban, the US invasion/war in neighboring Afghanistan from 2001-2021, a coup & martial law 1999-2002, & inflation currently at a 58-year high).
